This was our first visit to Maro's, but definitely not our last. The service was truly outstanding—they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Honestly, it was one of the best service experiences I've ever had. The food was just as impressive. Our server recommended the K-SAQ, a signature dish, and it did not disappoint. We also tried the Babel (our personal favorite), the Lebanese Cevapi, and Here Comes the Bride!—everything was absolutely delicious. We arrived around 6 PM, and by the time we left, the place was packed with a line out the door. It doesn’t seem like they take reservations, so it’s best to go early—but trust me, it’s worth the wait!
I'm not from Oakville and when I looked into where to eat. Maro's came up again and again. I can now see why. Truly one of Oakville's gems. The food is bold, delicious, and full of personality, just like the space itself. My husband and I had the K-saq and Here Comes the Bride. K-saq blew us away. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated, and completely satisfying. All the different dips and sauces were heaven. The staff are warm and welcoming. My only gripe was they were a little disorganized in taking our order and getting our bills. Overall, great vibes and would definitely come back.
Amazing place with amazing staff, delicoious middle eastern inspired food, great cocktails, generous portions and a vibrant atmosphere. I’ve visited both Maro’s and its sister restaurant, Nerenj, multiple times, and each visit has been a great experience, thanks to their welcoming and attentive team. We tried "Babel" which was sooo delicious and LIB cocktails, which was more on the sweeter side and is a great fusion with middle east flavours, with the sumac rim and orange blossom syrup. I definitely recommend to check this place and their sister restaurants.
Some of the best food I've had in a long time. I'm glad I came across this gem. The food was very flavorful, do I need to say more? Just look at the pictures how good it looks. We had the Miami Affair and Fairouz. Served with a side of garlic bread and dipping sauce which was a nice treat to go along with our meal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the establishment was beautiful. I will definitely come here again. I highly recommend Maro's!
We always wanted to try this restaurant with my wife and at last we had the chance and glad we did. Food is so amazing, flavourful and different. There are both meat and vegetarian options but vegetarian ones are so amazing, you wouldn't be disappointed if there was no meat. My wife tried the K-Saq which is their special dish and served as dine in only. I had the Miami affair. K-Saq was definitely the better choice but mine was also amazing. If you have a chance to visit this restaurant you must try K-Saq. The menu is a bit pricey but definitely worth it.
The food is insanely delicious fresh and flavorful. The patio has such a great vibe, perfect for a chill hangout. The owner has a big personality that adds to the experience, and the staff are all amazing. Loved everything
The food was amazing. Very tasty, well seasoned and good sized portions. Will definitely be back. Service could use a bit of work but it I still consider it a good experience.
Dined here once with my husband a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed our meal. He had the lunch in Beirut and I had the salad with artichokes plus fish on the side. Both were really yummy. I was raving about it so much that I promised my parents I would get them takeout when they were passing by (from out of town) this weekend. I ordered for them 2 Maro’s special (one with chicken shawarma and one with fish) plus another side of shawarma and cauliflower while my husband and I enjoyed a sit down dinner next door at Narenj. Everything is delicious and portion sizes are so generous. There was a little bit of confusion with our takeout order but Maro & Mumin personally reached out to reassure me that it’ll be taken care of.
